Select Enrichment
The Alexandria Twp School District Select Enrichment Program strives to support the specific needs of gifted children.  The overall goal of the Select Enrichment Program is not to simply label students as “gifted” but rather respond to their diverse learning needs and create a stimulating learning environment where they aim to push themselves, continue to grow, and have their educational needs met.  

Identification & Selection 
The identification process, conducted in the Alexandria Twp School District, requires the following:

• Achievement Assessment

• Aptitude Assessment

• Teacher Rating Scale (SIGS)

• Parent Rating Scale (SIGS)

• Work Sample

An individual who believes the school district has not complied with the provisions of the Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act may file a complaint. The Public Complaints and Grievances policy outlines the procedure for filing a complaint.
