Meet the Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction:

Mrs. Dominic is entering her 13th year in education.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Special Education from Wagner College in New York and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Rutgers University. She is certified as a Supervisor, Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant, Teacher of the Handicapped, and Elementary Teacher.  Mrs. Dominic has taught in both the general education and special education settings from grades K through 8 and takes pride in the success that her students, past and present, have achieved in and out of the classroom.

Mrs. Dominic has been working in Alexandria Township for eight years. She began as an In-Class Support Teacher and Replacement Teacher at the Middle School.  In 2003, Mrs. Dominic became a member of the Child Study Team as the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, which has allowed her the opportunity to interact with students at every grade level, recognize the expertise and compassion of the teachers who help our students reach new goals every day, and form relationships with parents.  It continues to be a truly rewarding experience!

This school year, Mrs. Dominic will embark on a new endeavor: District Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction and is looking forward to the challenge of something new.  Mrs. Dominic is especially thrilled to be working with the new teachers and looks forward to supporting them throughout the year.

Mrs. Dominic resides in Forks Township, PA with her husband and 8 year old son.  She enjoys watching her son’s sporting events, traveling, reading, dining out, entertaining, and hiking.  Mrs. Dominic is currently completing the required coursework to earn her Principal certification.
